There have been alot of things said on this site about Jimko/James Adcock but lets look a little deeper, he has a bussiness partner Linda Kay Gaston of 232 Owens Rd Dubach, La.71235 3**-**1-2710, to my understanding they had a falling out and Jim left the company, Linda Kay Gaston took over the company and assumed all responsiblity of it, she went as far as to change the name to COUNTRY GIRL SALES LLC. and try to dump all the problems of the company in her partners lap,she has spread alot of malicious lies and rumors,about her partner to make herself look good,if there are any customers who placed an order with JIMKO between march 15th,2010 and present then you should reach LINDA K. Gaston directly at 318-381-**** or at 232 Owens rd Dubach LA, 71235 to find out the status of your order, because she is the only one who knows where your money or your product is,

5-9-2012 update. Still no more money returned.

Jim Adcock blames Kay Gaston who now owns Country Girl Sales. I sent her my cell number in an email but she has not responded.

Monroe PD tells me that there is some kind of civil case against them now and that I do not need to hire my own lawyer. If anyone else is owed money, please contact Monroe PD and file a report.

I have had three others contact me now. If you paid by credit card, you can contact your bank and they will credit it back to you if too much time has not passed as was my case.

Please post your complaint.

Also, contact the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, and Motor Vehicle Commission. I would also contact the Monroe Police Department.

I paid Jim Adcock of Adcock Auto Parts, now JIMCO, for an auto part with my credit card over the phone on August 3rd, 2011. I never received the part and was promised a full refund.

After month of no refund, I filed complaints with The Louisiana Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, and Used Motor Vehicle Commission. I finally was refunded $200 of the $1150 on February 15th, 2012, but was told on March 30th 2012, by Mr. Adcock, not to expect the rest. I feel as though Mr.

Adcock has stolen $950 from me. I have now contacted the Monroe Police Department. My next step is to contact the Local News and then a lawyer. I have never had to file a complaint against anyone else.

I am not sure if I will ever see my money again, but fully expect Jim to go to jail and JIMKO to be shut down perminately.

I spoke with a lady there bout two weeks ago named Kim, she said they were making some changes to the company and that she would have Kay Gaston the owner call me to resolve the issues with my part never being recieved, she has yet to call me, i asked to speak with Jim and they said he no longer works there, the number they gave me to call to speak to Kay is 318-381-****, i have left several voice mails for her to call me and she has yet to return my calls, i think if enough of us call her mybe she will return our calls.

I had my credit card charged on 3-22-12 for $2340 and have yet to receive the 5.4 Ford F150 engine purchased. As the same as everyone there was no one available at JIMKO to answer my calls.

So what else can be done? It doesn't seem like anyone has been successful...

All I can say is got me too but i call my bank after reading all of this.I order a engine back on 3-23-2012 and i still have not got it you can say i'm a little pissed .Thank to me finding this page i should get money back hopefully and I thank this business should be shut down and the owners and all who is involved should be reliable and should have to survey some time in jail and not be allowed to operate a business again.I should send them a bill for all the time a have to pay mechanic for story for my truck being there. :( :( :( :(

OMG i am so glad i found this site... I am also a victim of this SCAM....

I paid JIMKO 1200.00 on March 4th for a new Engine. Finally on April 4th i received a hand written check which I deposited and have yet to receive credit for it. My bank keeps on charging me everytime they try to redeposit it.

I have contacted my local police department.. Hopefully they can solve this problem fast....

Hi my name is K.Thompson and I also have been an innocent victim of the JIMKO scam...as a matter of fact I had supposedly purchased a used engine for a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero with 51000 miles on it fro $ 979 from the company but the mechanic who has my car never received the engine yet and it almost been two weeks. Hey I guess I don't have to tell people you changed your company nameto jimko your new way of doing things has already pissed people off. they done posted bad reviews about you I guess karma want leave you alone until you take care of the customers you owe money too.I know my money will never return to me.I can just hope that state off Louisiana shuts you down before you get someone elses money.just for the record I still have that bad engine if you still want pick it up and warranty it since you told some on I wouldn't ship it back.

Hey sorry to bust your bubble. this loser dont have a used auto parts business .

He's a middle man he stays behind a desk and calls junk yards and prices it to you and offers warranties he can't stand behind.I know iv been trying since january 2011 to get my money back on a engine I purchased from for a customer.

I had to by a engine out if my own pocket for that customer. I hope the state of Louisiana shuts him down.

I'm Shantay from VA and Jimko also got me. After 3 weeks of waiting for my part I was send the wrong part.

Spoke with a man named Jim told me he would send the right part never received it asked for a refund to my credit card after a week of not getting it he told me they were haviving problems refunding credit cards. Told him to send me a check and I still have not received anything.

Now when I call the number it says not in service. Im working with my local police for this company

Buying parts from adcock auto parts

I called Adcock auto parts for a transmission for my 1989 Dodge dakota he said he could get me one for 300 dollars plus 125 for shipping. I never recieved the trans he said it was damaged in shipping.

Now I am trying to get my money back. I sent the money on january 10 by western unio. He keeps saying he will send it by fed-x even gives me a bogus tracking number this has been done twice.

How do you get your money back? James Adcock and Linda K all keep liying to me I don`t know what to do.

Mr. Hogue did order the transmission and we did have trouble finding him one that worked properly,with older models it is sometimes hard to do so,when we did ship him one out it got damaged by the freight company, we sent him a refund but fedex couldnt verify the address.

I am a Auto Repair in So Cal. I have been in business since 1954 so I knowm my way around I needed AS 6.5 diesel short block there wasn't any to be found in so cal so I went on the internet and put out finders in used auto parts, I received many replies so I started responding to their e-mails when I talked to Jim at Adcock auto parts he said all the right things I needed to hear, so I placed a order with Jim for a good rebuildable short I was told it would take a few days to inspect the core and make sure it was in good shape.

I thought thats great now there's a company that does business like I do theyrole. So jim billed my credit card and would ship it the next day. Well after two weeks no motor, I called jim and was told my motor was coming from Idaho and should be there within a week?? Another week went by and still no motor; I called Jim once again and he told me once again that it's not his fault! The yard he was getting it from really messed up.

Two more weeks went by and my motor was then delivered and it was sitting in my drive way,it looked like someone was using it for a boat anchor the only thing I could was inspected was to make sure it didn't fall off the pallet I was MAD I took pictures and e mailed to jim to show what his connection had sent a week went by and I called jim and asked if he had seen the pictures. We talked and I was going to dissemble this mess and report back to him. took me a week to dissemble and send the block to the machine to hot tank and inspect, it came back the block was rebuild able but the crank and a few rod were trashed so I called jim and we talked I asked him just find me a good crank and we would be square. Well here three months later calling jim of course one bull story after another I still waiting for a crankshaft,Now the picea *** won't even answer the phone,This *** makes all the respectable company's look bad. Lets see what feedback responce *** this *** gonna to reply ITS NOT HIS FALT *** you jim You Picea *** Don'tm buy from this CROOK

first of all steve let me start by saying i told you from ther start that this was a rebuildable core no gaurantees you accepted that, was it rebuildable yes, did i try to find you a replacement crank yes but the ones we ran accross were not usable i priced them brand new from the dealer and they were very expensive i explained that to you you said you could get one cheaper from your local dealer i saidd ok i would refund you the cost but you said no you wanted me to send one any way i said ok i ordered one through the dealer and it was the incorrect one i explained to you that i would try to locate you a replacement or refund your monei even offered to refund you in full but you said no you wanted the crank, rebuildable block means just that it needs rebuildt somethings will need to be replaced or reworked all that was gauranteed on that was the blockm it self not the internals thats why you got it so cheap, i have answered every call you have made except the ones you called today because i was at the dr all day, so dont tell people i havent tried to resolve this matter because i have, i will be issuing you a credit back today and you can find your crank somewhere else.and you as a mechanic should know that when a core engine is exposed to wheather conditions they will show i explained to you that it would not show up looking new and you said ok i have went above and beyound trying to resolve this matter and have come up with resolutions that you would not accept, even though i dont have to i will issue you a credit back through your credit card and close out this order, and you will be hearing from my attorney for slander......

Took my money and sent me a bad engine

the story goes like this I ordered a engine from James adcock back in january2011 I've Been trying To get a refund since march one story afte another its now december. Almost a year later He said he's having the picked up then he'll refund me its been a week no word from him . Im sure he will have reason why its not been picked up there's been a lot if bad reviews about this company so find yours parts some where else local so you don't have issues with getting your part warranted with out being lied to

There have been several bad reviews made about my company Adcock Auto Parts accussing me of several things. First i would like to say to those writing these reviews that if you feel you have been unfairly treated i do appologize for that,each review written on this site tells only one side of the story, in the warranty issues if there are certain steps that have to followed in order toreplace the engine or trainsmission that may need to be replaced such as it has to be sent back to the distributor to be checked out,documentation from the customer stating the issues have to be provided to us so we know whats wrong, then we have to forwatrd that information to distributors before a replacement or refund can be issued, when the customers do not provide us with what we need to reolve the problem we cant fix the problem.

as faor as refunds go when a refund issue to be issued we process the refund within 72 hrs of it being proven to be a valid refund and the credit card processor takes an additional 2-3 bussiness days to process it and release the funds, what many poeple do not know is that even though the we get an authorization code we do not recieve the money they pay us for up to 4 bussiness days from our processors so we send the parts out in most cases before we even recieve the funds from them,when a refund is due we have to wait till the part is returned and we recieve credit back from our distributors, so there alot to factor in when trying to resolve issues that cant be resolved overnite.

i have never purposely tried to cheat or take advantage of any of my customers, even though some of my customers have tried to cheat me and return the wrong parts and expect refunds. there are a few customers that have not been satisfied with what they have ordered but there are hundreds of customer that have been..My direct phone numbers are 318-855-**** or 318-803-**** which i can be reach at one of the two 24 hours a day 7 days a week if anyone has any issues or questions about the things they have read about my company that they would like to discuss i am available anytime..i have tried to resolve every issue that has come up with a customer and sometimes there have been instances to where we werent able to reach an agreement, but i ahve always tried to do the right thing, so please before you pass judgement about me please call me and get both side of the story......

I run a salvage yard in MN and i agree with you 100%,most customers do work with us if there is an issue with what they order and provide us with the proper documentation that we need to resolve the problem, and there are those few that do not. we set warranty and return policies in place to tey and protect us and the customer and if those policies aren't meet then it can be an inconvience to us and the customer, things can be worked out if both parties are willing to do so, best advice i can any customer make sure you read the warranty and return policies set by the company you make your purchase from,and have any questions and concerns answered before your order is complete, this would eleviate any issues down the road.

Lies toeven the Bahamas

I like many others contacted James (Jim) Adcock to purchase an engine for a 2003 Kia Sorrento. Everything started out great - giving him all my details and he informing me that he found an engine and what the cost was.

Then I made my payment via bank draft and things went fishy. I could not reach him by phone and no response from emails. He was suppose to use a shipping company (local) but there was always a problem with the paper work. So I had to change the script and give him a shipper locally in the Bahamas that ships from the US.

Then the part never arrives at the shipper and they have heard nothing from James (Jim). So I ask to be refunded and he said he is just waiting on the check from the company. Then he gets the check and for some reason can not forward the funds to me as I requested for him to Fedex the check back and forward the AWB number. This can not seem to happen as about two weeks has already passed and I can't seem to get a couple of letters and numbers.

So I will lodge a complaint with the Louisiana Attorney General and advise them if I need to get an attorney to clear this which would be an easy thing for me and a major problem for Jim. I hope he checks this and be afraid because I have quite a few friends and family that are lawyers and willing to assist.

Please Read

this site is used for people to discribe bad experiance they have had with companies, but the fact of the matter is those people fail to tell the whole story. If you recieve an item from a company and it doesnt ship on time or you recieve the wrong item purhased you immediately contact the company you bought it from and ask to return it.That company gives you return instructions and tells you once recieved back the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.

Well most people delay returning the product on time and or do not read the return and warranty policies and then get mad if things dont go as planned.or some people recieve the product they ordered and then file disputes with thier credit card company stating they never recieved it in the first place, so they cheat the company out of the product, i think someone should create a site to list the consumers that screw over businesss and the name of the sites that post the half truth complaints . Every company in the world has issues with customers, suppliers and shipping companies that delay products being delievered on time and or in good standards, consumers need to understand that companies do everything they can to resolve the issues that arise, but it takes time to get thiose matters resolved, we cant just push a button and fix the problem, so dont judge a company by the negaticvwe things you read online because there are always to sides to the story to find the truth

i have found out that they are always 2 sides to the story and somewhere in the middle is the truth--people dont read the fine print close enough and then get all bent out of shape if things done go their way--of course out of the millions of transactions that take place every day there will be some mix ups--but follow the rules and 99.99% of the time it will be corrected.

Steve that warranty has always been there if you would have checked your reciept you would have seen the link to view the warranty,you purchased a engine block,all the block is suppose to come with is just the block (Noun 1. engine block - a metal casting containing the cylinders and cooling ducts of an engine)you paid 450..

for the block with shipping..a crankshaft for this engine would have been almost as much as the block. i gave you several options to resolve this matter but you refused them all,if you werent happy with the block when it arrived as you stated you werent you should have let me had it picked up and been replaced in stead of breaking it down and reworking it,which is all a engine block is gauranteed to be is rebuildable, which means you have to replace all internal componets.....

Here is our Warranty & Return Policy it is available on the website and a link to it is sent to every customer when the order is placed. Engine blocks are only garaunteed to be rebuildable, if you werent happy with the block when it showed up you should have sent it back for a replacement.

***Please be cautious to inspect all parts before signing for them. Once a part is signed for, it is now your responsibility and the warranty from Adcock Auto Parts will not cover shipping charges for damaged parts once you have accepted your part. You must give the tracking information to Adcock Auto Parts to track the shipment back to the warehouse. Once received and inspected to (1) make sure it was the exact part shipped back, (2) to make sure the part has not been augmented or dismantled and (3) to check for damage claimed to have. Once this is done we will send a replacement part or issue you credit.

A 25% restocking fee may be charged for any part that is returned that does not meet the expectations of our warehouse warranty guidelines.

Once the order is placed the customer has 24 hours to cancel the order without being charged a cancelation fee, if the customer cancels thier order after 24 hours of the order being placed then they will be charged a 25% restocking fee and any other cost of preparing thier order for shipping such as labor cost for having parts pulled, shipping and reconsignment cost if part has shipped,and any and all fees that are charged by payment processing company for issuing a refund.

If a part is ordered incorrectly by the customer by giving us the incorrect information and the customer wants to return it, there is a 25% restocking fee, there is no refund on shipping to the customer and the customer will have to ship the part back to the distributor at their own expense.

Shipping is non refundable. All freight shipments that are being shipped to a residence must be dropped off at a local hub and then picked up and put on a box truck with a lift gate to be delivered to the residence. The additional shipping charge for residential delivery is $85.00, and non refundable.

Adcock Auto Parts. In the event the part is defective and/or incorrect, we will first attempt to replace the part and if a replacement cannot be sent, we will issue a store credit for the eligible amount. In order to receive a credit, a letter from a licensed mechanic must be emailed to customerservice@***.com on a mechanic company letterhead stating what is wrong with the part and what parts would be needed to repair the part. If the repair parts cannot be feasibly sent to the customer/mechanic, we will attempt to send a replacement for the entire part. Another part will not be shipped until the incorrect or damaged part is received back to the warehouse and verified it was the exact one was sent out. SHIPPING COST IS NON REFUNDABLE.

Items ordered for “testing purposes only” or ordered incorrectly by the customer may not be available for return. Verify with a mechanical or body expert the actual part needed before ordering. We do a very good job at sending the correct parts and would ask you, our customer to do the necessary research before ordering. Parts must be reported within three (3) business days (72 Hours) of arrival and returned within 30 days of the original shipment delivery date in order to be accepted. We do not support augmentation to modify vehicles. We sell OEM standard parts or direct replacements aftermarket.

Items modified or taken apart for testing will not be available for return. Items returned that are not the original part shipped out from the warehouse will not be refunded. PARTS ARE UNIQUELY IDENTIFIED BY MARKINGS ON THE PART. Items returned that are not in the original condition shipped (excluding items damaged in shipping and verified by Adcock Auto Parts representative) will not be refunded.

Adcock Auto Parts is not responsible for items delivered to the address given at the time of sale according to tracking information but not taken into possession by the customer. Adcock Auto Parts is not responsible for fees incurred due to the customer giving incorrect shipping information. There will be a $25 reconsignment fee for UPS, FedEx, Speedy Delivery etc. There will be fees up to $275 for parts that are shipped by freight.

All parts must be installed by a licensed mechanic for full warranty to be in effect. Lack of knowledge or incompetence is not warranted. If there is an issue with a part, it must be put in writing from a mechanic on their letterhead stating they installed the part with the ASE certified logo with detailed information on what is wrong with the part.

Hoses on engines, air boxes, or on any other parts are not guaranteed to be on the part or part of the warranty. We do not warranty anything rubber that is a wearable part.

There is no warranty on wiring. Wiring is not guaranteed to come with the part.

Engines Complete:

Parts guaranteed on an engine are cylinder head(s), block, pistons, camshaft(s), rings, crankshaft, and engine oil pan.

Other parts may come in with the engine but are not warranted. These items may include; intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds,throttle body, timing belts and covers, seals, and hoses. Wiring does not come with the engines nor would be warranted. Accessories such as but not limited to turbos, starters, A/C compressors, alternators, power steering pumps, optical distributors, or electrical, water pumps are usually not included nor under warranty. Other items may need to be replaced are the water pump, distributor cap, spark plugs, plug wires, and timing chain/belt. Adcock Auto Parts will not be held liable for these parts listed as they are considered to be high wear parts.

Warranty is void if engine has been overheated or started without oil or fluids. All engines are shipped dry.

Warranty may also be void if the following procedures and requirements are not met.:

***Must retain all service records and receipts to provide conditions were met***

A new thermostat must be installed.

Heat tab must not be melted or removed.

Replace oil, oil filter, timing belt/chain, water pump, and all oil seals.

Do not alter or dismantle.

Damage by customer/technician due to improper installation.

Intake manifold must be cleaned prior to engine installation to avoid contamination of old engine.

The serial number on all returned parts MUST MATCH THE EXACT serial number of the part that was originally ordered.

Engine Blocks:

Are garaunteed to be rebuildable only. and to have no cracks in the block and that the cylinders can be rehoned, crankshaft,pistons and piston rods are not garuanteed on engine blocks,these are sold as core rebuildable blocks only...

Transmissions

We guarantee the transmission will shift properly and for the gears and bearings to be good.

Warranty may be void if the following procedures and requirements are not met:

***Must retain all service records and receipts to prove conditions were met***

A new transmission coolant must be installed.

New oil, oil filter, gaskets, and seals replaced.

Transmission lines and coolers must be flushed to avoid contamination from bad fluids.

Thoroughly clean all components of the transmission including oil pan before installation.

For manual transmissions, you must install a new (not used) clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder. Must also fully engage the torque converter in front of the pump.

You must also have the flywheel turned prior to installation. Fill and check fluid to ensure proper levels.

The serial number on all returns MUST MATCH EXACT serial number of the part that was originally shipped.

Electrical Parts

Electrical items such as engine computers and body control modules, transmission modules, transfer case modules are only guaranteed to have the correct manufacturer part number and are not sold for testing purposes. All electrical items have a replacement warranty only. Up to one replacement will be sent in order to rectify a non-working module. Customer will be eligible for a refund when we are unable to find a replacement. Modules may need to be reset by the dealer. In the event this is required the part cannot be returned until verified by the dealer that the part has been reset properly. Electrical parts that have been modified in any way will not be refunded.

Cylinder Heads

Guaranteed not to be warped or cracked and are sold as rebuilds only. Individual cylinder head valves, springs, and seal wear is normal and heads may need reconditioning before installation. If cylinder heads come back with the tabs melted or missing and it is found that it due to the engine running without fluids, it will void the warranty.

Cylinder Blocks-Core

Sold only AS-IS and is Rebuildable only (Not a complete engine.)

Instrument and Speedometer Clusters

We do not guarantee mileage. For particular vehicles such as but not limited to Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Cadillac; the customer will be required to take the cluster to a dealership to have the unit reprogrammed. Adcock Auto Parts will not return or refund any units until the customer can provide written documentation from an Authorized Dealer proving the part was reprogrammed and is still not functioning properly.

Struts and Knee Assembly

Struts are sold with working condition warranty only. We do not guarantee to actual ride quality of the shocks and springs. We do not guarantee that the springs and the strut tower will be in working condition. However, shocks may need to be replaced to improve ride quality.

Control Arms

Control arms are guaranteed to be true and straight. Any rubber bushings or non-metal parts attached to control arms are not guaranteed.

Bushings and Ball joints are not guaranteed on parts.

. Carburetor/Throttlebody

Guaranteed to be Rebuildable. Throttle body Positioning Sensor may not be included with the throttle body.

Body Parts

Color is not guaranteed. Due to geographical weathering, color fading may be effect actual color of the paint. The part is guaranteed not to have dents or major scratches that cannot be buffed out.

Turbocharger/Supercharger

Seals are not guaranteed to be perfect. These seals may need to be changed during the warranty period.

Distributors

We do not guarantee caps and/or rotors with distributor.

Brake Rotors/Flywheels

Guaranteed to be turnable.

Warranty Exceptions

Whenever a distributor refuses to accept a part back, due to buyer’s remorse, a no refund/return clause will go into effect immediately and will void out the warranty.

A talked to james adcock june 24th. He said he send my money back It is now july 18th still no check recorded The last conversation we had and he said the check is ready to send out.

It has been three weeks he will not call me back. Im going to talk to a attorney. And let him listen to the phone calls. He said he fired.

Two of his employees one for stealing. And one for not showing up two work sounds like they learned. From there boss please.

james Adcock at adcocks auto parts Sold Me a used engine for a 98 chevy prism.back in january with a 12 month warranty 2months later the engine started using oil. He said he would send me a engine weeks have went by same story Every week.

Im looking now he says He can't Find one now he said he would give me a refund 2weeks no check. He want return phone calls are emails he don't even have a shop it has been 3months now still no check or engine.

Mr Turpin on 12/10/10 you put in a request for engine for a 1998 Chevy Prizm 1.8l you ordered that engine on 12/15/2010 and that is what was sent to you. Several weeks later you contacted me and said you installed the engine and that it was not the correct engine. i asked for the vin for the car you were fixing and the you provided was 1Y1SK5286YZ400991 which turned out to be for a 2000 Chevy Prizm which does not not fit the 1998 Prizm, i said i would try to locate you the correct engine, the replacement engine is a higher priced engine because of the type of engine it is, your customer was unable to pay the difference, also the issues you said this engine had of using oil, oil leaks are not covered under warranty and the seals should have been replaced at the time of install, the only thing we waranty is Parts guaranteed on an engine are cylinder head(s), block, pistons, camshaft(s), rings, crankshaft, and engine oil pan.It states on your reciept Warranty may also be void if the following procedures and requirements are not met.:

Replace oil, oil filter, timing belt/chain, water pump, and all oil seals

if these things werent done warranty is void. I even sent you 100.00 to replace the seals.

i have ordered my Nissan 06 Maxima transmission on 6/14/2011, paid right away with credit card, but never received part, when asked James Adcock said the transmission fail the test. when, i asked for refund, he said he will send the money and transaction will take 2 to 3 days.

I did not received my money yet.

And now he is not answering my call. Now, I am stuck, please do not by from this guy, you better pay more somewhere else for your parts or else, will loose your money, time and will get frustration for free.

Mr Patel ordered a transmission from us on the 14th i explained to him as it states on the shipping page of our website www.adcockautoparts.com that it takes 48-72 hours for the part to be pulled tested and shipped and then he would recieve it within 5 business days because it was shipping to california, we contacted our distributor a few days later on the 17th to see the status of the shipping, we were informed that the transmission would not shift properly, i informed mr patel that i would locate him another one, that due to the weekend it would take a couple of days, on tuesday the 21 i contacted mr patel and told him that i had located another transmission for him and we could have it sent out and he would recieve it within a few days, he said ok send it we set it up to be shipped on the 22nd mr patel called me on the 23 rd said he wanted to cancel and i said it had already shipped he said he didnt care he wanted to cancel, i said ok as soon i was able to stop the shipment i would credit him back, which we did on the 24 but due to weekend it would take 2-3 bussiness days to see the credit,he contacted me on the 28th said he hadnt recieved credit i called my processor they siad there was an error in thier system and the would have it resolved within 24 hours,the credit was kicked back beacuse the credit card came back as invalid i called mr patel verified his info and reprocessed his credit which was on july first, but due to holiday it would not process through the system until the 5th which was yesterday, mr patel has let me threatening message on my answering service threating me and my family harm, used some very explicite language, i have turned these recordings over to my attorney and will be seeking legal action against him for threats to my family......

The customers that have posted these thing did truly have issues with there orders but everything was done to resolve those issues, when you place an order with any company that company does the very best they can to service thier customers,however there are times when issues may arise that may delay or cause us not to be able to fullfill the order.

After several days of searching for a transmission for my truck and reading several reviews on various companies, some good some bad, i decided to contact adcock auto parts, i had several coversation with the owner jim and expressed my concerns about ordering from any company online and that i had read some bad reviews about his company. He explaine that there were no gaurantees when ordering from any company and that problems can occur, he said he has had some issues tried to resolve them as best he could, well i decided to go ahead and order from him, i recievd my transmission in about seven days and real pleased with the transmission, i feel there are peopl out there that like to say negative things before they actually take the time to work with the companies and find out exactly what the problems are.

I have ran a repair shop for many years and there are alot of problems that do occur that consumers are not aware of. I would recommend Jim to my customers because he came through like he said he would.
